What distinguishes Dawdl from Wordle, is that players are entitled to unlimited guesses; the aim is to guess the secret word as quickly as possible. Every word entered is displayed using a familiar color system: green indicates the correct letter in the correct spot, yellow shows the correct letter in the wrong spot, and gray indicates the letters not in the word.
Lastly, unlike Wordle, which gives you 6 guesses, Dawdl allows players to keep guessing until they find the right word; this reduces the weight of guessing and allows the game to expand the space for strategic thinking.
