About Trekle
Trekle is a free online word-guessing game that draws inspiration from both the Star Trek series and the well-known Wordle!! game. The goal of the game is to enter your guesses and get feedback on how close you are to a five-letter term that is associated with Star Trek.
You are given a grid of 6 rows and 5 columns in the game, and each row corresponds to one estimate. To submit it, you must input a five-letter word after typing it. The game will then assign a color code to each letter in your guess: green for the right letter in the proper location, yellow for the correct letter in the incorrect position, and gray for the incorrect letter. Using this knowledge, you must reduce your list of possibilities and discover the concealed word in no more than six guesses.
Every day, a new word is presented to you as part of the game, with varying degrees of difficulty depending on the day of the week. All of the terms on the list have something to do with Star Trek, including ships, planets, species, and more. To communicate with other Trekle players and compare scores, you may also sign up for a Discord server with a Star Trek theme.
