How to play and the mechanics of Larrybirdle
You enter the name of a (current) NBA player as a prediction.
Get hints from attributes
After each prediction, the Larrybirdle game will compare the parameters of the player you expect to see with the secret player, then display hint boxes (with colors or symbols) for each attribute:
- Team
- Conference
- Division
- Position
- Height
- Age
- Number
Hint color and symbol
Green if the attribute exactly matches the secret player.
Yellow is used for attributes like height, age and shirt number if the value you expect is within ±2 for the exact value.
The up and down arrows or symbols help you know if the exact value is greater or less than the expected value.
New day and prediction
Daily mode: Every day there is a new player to look forward to.
Practice mode: you can play unlimited times, predict multiple times without waiting for a new day.
Filter and support
Larry Birdle provides filters to help you narrow down your list of manual requests, such as:
Filter by team, by position (defender, striker, center)
Filter only "official players" (official players)
Option to turn on/off silhouette display (silhouette) so you can predict based on the original style if you want.
