Worldle was inspired by Nyt Wordle!!, but it's totally different. The first time it launched, the similarity in name made some social media users confused. However, the creator of this geography word game didn’t want that. He said he doesn’t want Worldle to be considered "a copy of the Wordle!! game," but rather a "tribute" to it.
The difference between Worldle and Wordle!!
Whereas Wordle!! gives players six chances to guess a daily word, Worldle users get six attempts to determine a single country or region based solely on an outline of its shape.
When Worldle players estimate an incorrect country, they are shown on a map how far and in which direction they are from the correct country.
Worldle users can make the game more difficult by hiding the image of the country or region or rotating the image in a random way.
How to play
Worldle, like any other word-guessing game, may be played once per day, and players can publish their findings on social media in the form of little green, yellow, and black square emoji that represent how quickly they found the correct answer.
