About Strands
Strands is an online vocabulary game created by The New York Times and released in March 2024. The game is part of the New York Times game library and takes the form of a game. Find words in new puzzles released every day.
Strands uses a 6x8 letter grid, and unlike regular word search games, the words can bend in all directions. For each task, the player is given a "theme," which is a clue to help them solve it. Each puzzle includes a "Spangram," a word that connects the grid from left to right or top to bottom, revealing the game's subject.
